Careful How You Clean!
Many products sold in the market today are not appropriate for true leather care. Many contain chemicals that break down the finishes. This promotes dryness, cracking, and rapid soiling. Some contain products that strip off the topcoat, exposing the lower surfaces of the finish. Other cleaners contain wax-type conditioners to soften the leather, but build up over time and become hard, brittle and glaze up. This improper care can result in damaged leather, rapid re-soiling, or cracking and peeling.

Leather Tips

• Keep leather out of direct sunlight. Natural leather may fade under extensive exposure.
• Do not place your leather furniture any closer than two feet away from a radiator or similar heat source, as direct heat my also cause damage.
• Dust your leather weekly and vacuum it to keep pores clean.
